Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2nd, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SaaSarazzi (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit saasarazzi.com, subscribe to our newsletter, or send us a tip.

Not legal advice. This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before publishing, and align it with your actual tools (email provider, analytics, host).

1. Who we are (Controller)

The data controller is BB Media Group sp. z o.o., [registered address], Poland, KRS [], NIP []. Contact: privacy@saasarazzi.com.

2. What we collect

Newsletter (“The Weekly Flash”). Your email address (and name, if you give it).

Tips & messages. Anything you send via the tip line or contact forms, including your email and the content of your message.

Usage data. Pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location (from IP), browser/device type, and timestamps — collected via analytics and server logs.

Cookies & local storage. We use cookies and your browser’s local storage for essential functionality (e.g. remembering a reaction you left on a story) and, with your consent, for analytics. See Section 7.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we don’t sell your personal data.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • To send the newsletter — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • To respond to tips/messages — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in running the publication and corresponding with readers and sources.
  • To run and secure the site (logs, anti-abuse) — legitimate interest.
  • Analytics — your consent, where required.

4. Sources & confidentiality

If you contact us as a source, we treat source confidentiality seriously, but we cannot guarantee anonymity in all circumstances (e.g. legal compulsion). Do not send us material you are not lawfully entitled to share.

5. Who we share data with (Processors)

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, such as:

  • Email/newsletter provider: [e.g. MailerLite / Mailchimp]
  • Analytics: [e.g. Plausible / Google Analytics]
  • Hosting/CDN: [e.g. your host]

We may disclose data where required by law.

6. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Details available on request.

7. Cookies

On first visit we ask for your cookie preferences. Essential cookies are always on; analytics/marketing cookies load only with consent. You can change your choice anytime via [cookie settings link] or your browser.

8. How long we keep it

  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted/anonymised within [e.g. 30 days].
  • Tips/messages: as long as needed for the matter, then archived or deleted.
  • Logs/analytics: [e.g. up to 14 months].

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these, email privacy@saasarazzi.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, Prezes UODO (uodo.gov.pl).

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, though no method of transmission is completely secure.

11. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
